Catalogue Note

A very attractive example of Cartier's chronograph wristwatch featuring the signature Calibre de Cartier case, the present watch delights through its single-button chronograph mechanism as well as the jumping minute counter.

Powered by manual winding calibre 9907 MC which is completely designed and developed by Cartier, Cartier reconfigures traditional chronograph watches by displaying all chronograph functions through the central axle instead of subsidiary dials. The watch is divided into two separate parts - the hour and minute hands circle the upper part and indicate time on the Roman numeral chapter ring; the lower level is dedicated to the chronograph function and the blued steel hand begins to move when the chronograph function is activated and a 180-degree arced counter keeps track of up to thirty minutes.
