Condition

The movement and all chronograph functions are in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The crystal with signs of wear at places. The dial with very tiny minor spotting, however it has taken a uniform ivory patina over time. The lumes from 10 o'clock to 4 o'clock have almost all faded out and has turned black. The chronograph hands has most likely been replaced during a servicing. The bezel with very minor signs of wear and tiny pinhead dings at places, the engravings to the tachymeter with color loss. The band with very minor signs of wear particularly toward the pinhole, otherwise is in good overall condition. The lugs with minor signs of wear underneath from removing the bracelet, and the case back with minor surface wear throughout. The inside case back is stamped 6262. The case has been slightly polished, otherwise in good overall condition. The Rolex Oyster bracelet is in good overall condition and is slightly stretched, it is stamped 466 with end links stamped 57.* Please note that the movement has not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's expense. Catalogue Note

Featuring a "Paul Newman" dial and steel bezel, the present watch is reference 6262 Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. Introduced in the beginning of the 1970s, the model was fitted with the 727 Valjoux caliber, Featuring a white dial the black subsidiary registers have aged to a warm brown and the dial is further enhanced with a red outer minute track. The white graphics within the black subsidiary registers feature strong serifs, and contrast wonderfully with the now brown surrounding color

All features are correct, including the "T Swiss T" designation on the bottom of the dial, which is slightly slanted and slopes up and down.
