Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Rolex guarantee and presentation box. Making its debut in 1953, Submariner has been one of the most popular and iconic series of Rolex. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Submariner, Rolex released a special edition with green bezel in 2003, in which had been one of the most desirable models for all Rolex aficionados.

Furthermore, Ref 16610LV can be separated into eight distinct series with subtle differences in details of dial and bezel design. The present lot is an original example of Mark I which featured by the signature flat 4 on the bezel and was only in production for a limited period of time. Thus, it becomes more collectable and sought after in the market today.
