Catalogue Note

Forged entirely of 18k yellow gold, lot 247 is a wonderful example of this reference. Still, the design of this watch retains a very strong sports aesthetic while its conservative, vintage proportions make it particularly versatile. The contrast between the black registers and the gold dial is very striking, and is echoed by the black chronograph hand allowing the watch presence. This watch is differentiated from its steel counterpart by the signature above the 12-hour register reading 'Cosmograph' and not 'Daytona'.
