Condition
Overall in very good condition. The texture of the wood is smooth and presents very little wear, except for a small, faint scratch to the reverse and minor spot of discoloration on one of the inner flaps. The proper right side of the piece with a professionally restored area of infill only visible upon close inspection (approx 1 in.). The catalogue illustration was published prior to restoration and this area is now seamless. Light traces of dust in recessed areas of the design. A charming example of the artist's rare trompe l'oeil designs.
