Condition

Overall in very good condition consistent with age. The glass top has been recently replaced and is in excellent condition. Its coloration is a complimentary subtle champagne pink, slightly deeper in hue than the catalogue illustration. The kingwood veneer is original and in very good condition, with very light scuffing. The piece appears to have been professionally and sensitively relacquered. The outer upper edge of the table top with one slight area of discoloration measuring approximately ½ inch and not visually distracting. This important table by Schoen is offered en suite with lot 207, both of which were the result of a private commission. The piece has remained in a private collection ever since.
