Condition

Overall in very good condition, consistent with age. Light surface scratches and minor irregularities to the bronze throughout. The piece was professionally and sensitively repatinated to enhance its natural color and luminosity, in a manner that is consistent to the original. When viewed in person, the bronze presents with subtle variations in hue ranging from russet brown to deep chocolate brown. An important and majestic outdoor sculpture by François-Xavier Lalanne.
