  • Height 7 in., 17.8 cm
the cylindrical form carved in low relief, forming six large upright overlapping petals gently curling at the rim, overlaid with three detached floral sprays emerging from rockwork

Condition

The brushpot is in good condition overall, there are a small nicks to along the rims and edges of the somewhat shallow carving. There are a few fine splits to the base rim and the inset base may have been either consolidated or replaced. Please note that this lot will require a CITES permit for export outside of the United States.
