Condition

The set is in generally good condition for its age. The paper has darkened slightly and become slightly embrittled, as expected with age. There are minor tears and folds, particularly to the edges; some lifting and losses to the title strips on the covers; some handwritten annotations (including notes written in pencil on the covers, and enumeration of the pages written in ink); and some pages are slightly wrinkly from humidity exposure. Only one volume is missing its cover and has partial losses to some of the pages.
