  • marked on bases Sterling Silver and Other Metals, the creamer numbered 5047-9800, the sugar bowl 4927-9892
  • silver, gold, copper

both of compressed bullet form with spot-hammered surfaces, the creamer applied with copper fish and a gold turtle, engraved with seaweed and initials HA, the angular handle pierced with a circle pattern centered by copper diamonds and applied with another gold turtle; the sugar bowl applied with copper and gold maple leaves, a copper moth and a copper dragonfly, engraved with vines

Condition

both interiors with traces of gilding, sugar bowl with two small plugged holes near rim at front- probably for a hinge, also with a few shallow dents to lower body, creamer in good condition
