Catalogue Note

Accompanied by Breitling service paperwork, 6 spare bracelet links and service case. A wonderful example of a vintage Breitling, the Navitimer Cosmonaute above, is distinguished by its all black 24-hour dial and the wings of the AOPA (The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association). A Cosmonaute, 24-hour dial Navitimer was worn by Lieutenant Commander Scott Carpenter while orbiting the Earth for NASA's Mercury mission in 1962.
