Designed as an articulated line of oval lockets, the hinged lids each with applied letter within a bead and cord work border, spelling the word 'souvenir', each opening to reveal a photograph, length approximately 202mm, Dutch assay and sponsor's marks.

Condition

Clasp tongue stamped with Dutch assay mark 585 for 14 carat gold. Reverse of largest locket stamped 14K for 14 carat gold, sponsor's marks AM and CF. Front of lockets possibly gilt metal. 66 grams. Largest locket approximately 30 x 25mm. Metal with scratches and areas of discolouration, 'V' locket with a dent to the front. Areas of minor denting and evidence of solder repair to the reverse. Hinges intact, lids closing securely. Glass intact. Overall in good condition, commensurate with age and wear.
