Set with a cabochon sapphire on a raised mount with circular-cut diamond and faceted synthetic sapphire details, size O1/2, signed Margherita, numbered, Italian maker's mark.

Condition

Accompanied by CISGEM, short number. 6160, stating that the sapphire is natural, with no indications of heating. Measuring approximately 7.95 x 10.65 x 9.05mm, calculate to weigh approximately 8.50 carats. Signed Margherita, numbered 1213, Italian maker's mark and indistinct 750 mark to inside of ring shank. Sapphire medium blue, typical inclusions visible under magnification, some surface reaching, some light surface scratches to stone surfaces. Stone is slightly loose in its mount. Synthetic sapphires dark blue, visible chips and surface wear such as scratches and rubbed facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively, estimate total diamond weight approximately 0.20 carats. Metal surfaces with scratches. Total gross weight approximately 10.7 grams. Overall condition good.
