The necklace composed of graduated alternating beads of jadeite and onyx with spacers set with single-cut diamonds, to a pendant composed of sections of jadeite and onyx, set with brilliant- and single-cut diamonds, supporting a tassel of onyx beads, the ends additionally accented with single-cut diamonds, length approximately 820mm, inscribed to clasp Paris Londres New York, numbered, 1920s and later, composite.

Verbal report stating jadeite is wax impregnated. Composite piece, restrung. Clasp signed Paris Londres New York, numbered 32, indistinct mark, also appearing on jump ring. Spacers to necklace numbered. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 5.00 - 6.00 carats. Jadeite light green, translucent to opaque, with typical colour mottling, granular structure and surface features visible. Onyx black, opaque, each with light scratches to surfaces and areas of minor wear. Range of jadeite bead diameters approximately 4.9 - 9.1mm. Clasp secure. Scratches to surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition. Weigh approximately 112 grams.
