Condition

The wood is covered with a thick varnish and presents with multiple scratches, scuffs, small dents and small chips, mostly concentrated to the lower half of the armchair. The bronze feet presents with some scratches and minute dents, consistent with age and use. A screw has been added at a later date to hold one bronze foot to the armchair's structure. The armchair has been re-upholstered at a later date but would benefit from a full professional restoration as the backrest and seat are loose.
