Very close inspection reveals some minor wear in places along the edges. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.

The HIX Award is a first step to life beyond university for many young artists. The Award, now in its 6th year, is a professional opportunity designed to give both current students and recent graduates the chance to exhibit in a group show. The exhibition is hosted by Mark Hix's established contemporary gallery HIX ART below Tramshed in Shoreditch. This show gives HIX ART the opportunity to discover and support some fantastic emerging artists, the show then goes under the scrutiny of our 25 esteemed judges who have previously included Tracey Emin, Gavin Turk, Stephen Webster, Dylan Jones, Mark Hix and more, who go on to choose the official winner of The HIX Award.
