Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals a hairline tension crack running intermittently along the extreme edges, and evidence of wear with some associated rubbing in places along all four edges and corner tips. Further very close inspection reveals two pin prick perforations to the extreme lower and left hand edge; and a short and faint rub mark towards the upper right hand corner and a very faint and unobtrusive rub mark to the lower centre right of the composition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
