The ebony presents with some craquelures and some cracks, inherent to the aging of this material. The varnish presents with instances of blushing scattered. The set has been previously restored and re-varnished. Most armchairs present with previous seams restorations and with restorations to previous cracks and broken elements mostly concentrated to the backrests and the armrests. The leather seats are dry, worn and discolored apart from one armchair whose leather seat has most likely been replaced at a later date. Half of the armchairs present with some significant scratches scattered. The backrest of one armchair presents with some previous chips to the upper part. Le dossier d'un fauteuil présente d'anciens éclats en partie supérieure. Le dossier d'un autre fauteuil présente deux enfoncements/éclats circulaires (un de chaque côté du dossier).
