Condition

Good overall condition. The metal structure with some surface scratches, a few scuff marks and some small chips of paint, scattered and consistent with age and use. The upper half of the legs and the stretchers with several scratches, scuffs and losses of paint, visible in the catalogue illustration. The glass tops with light surface scratches and very few and very minute chips along the edges and the corners. The edges of the tops with some black stains.

This model of a console table was created for the Chanel stores in the 1930s. A similar example is in Gabrielle Chanel's apartment rue Cambon in Paris.
