  • Height with frame 27 in. by Width 22 1/4 in.; 68.6 by 56.5 cm.
signed Made by Lucy De Lisle Aged of 12 years 1809; worked in cross stitch and depicting birds, flowers and a grapevine surrounding a prayer surmounted by a crown within a pink carnation border

Condition

Canvas with undulations and some staining and discoulration. Scattered losses, pulls and re-stitching to threads, more visible in the floral border, bunches of grapes, and one butterfly. Not examined out of frame. Frame with minor scratches and rubbing to gilding.
