Catalogue Note

In India, we dwell in buildings that we inhabit over generations. Many inhabitants of those buildings change, and eventually gradual transformations take over. Both in lifestyles and changing occupations over a period may result in changes language and lifestyles of the generations that follow. Thus, buildings almost represent a new world similar to the Legendary Tower of Babylon. I have thought of a new structure which provides such physical and planning facilities through this conceptual sketch. - B. V. Doshi, October 2018
