Description

The circular engraved mother-of-pearl dial with later hands set with rose diamonds, within an onyx surround applied with Roman numerals in mother-of-pearl, to an outer rail set with coral and rose diamond accents, the square rock crystal case with corner details set with rose diamonds, to a silver case back and later perspex strut, mechanical movement, measuring approximately 89 x 89 x 14mm, signed Cartier, numbered, gross weight approximately 495.80 grams, dial cover deficient, case stamped Cartier.

Mother of pearl generally in good condition. Coral with some areas of restored chipping. Enamel with some chips. Diamonds bright and lively. Hands added later. Rock crystal colourless, transparent, some areas of minor chipping to corners. Metal with areas of discoloration. Perspex strut is a later replacement. Accompanied by case stamped Cartier.
