Description

Designed as a cross, pierced and millegrain-set with circular-cut and rose diamonds, centring a circular-cut diamond weighing 2.55 carats, to a later added brooch fitting, French assay marks for gold 14 carat gold and platinum, gross weight approximately 23.90 grams.

Condition

French import assay marks for 14 carat gold and platinum. In our specialists' opinion, the diamond weighing 2.55 carats is approximately J/K colour, SI1 clarity with chips around girdle and one on table facet. Remaining diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.50-3.00 carats, estimated clarity SI2/I, estimated colour J-L. Scratches to metal surfaces. Brooch fitting with areas of discolouration and solder repair visible, some minor areas to reverse of brooch with visible yellow solder. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 23.9 grams. Length approximately 62 x 58mm.
