Catalogue Note

Giuseppe Ungaretti, Un intenso splendore, catalogo Galerie Im Erker, Sankt Gallen, 1966

“His textiles or better still, his membranes of uniform, almost monochrome, paint pervaded by different rays of coloured threads, open up inside thick combs of honey, sockets filled with pupils full of light, armed with stingers of light. Dorazio is the light and, thanks to him it will be present in the history of painting. He concentrates and fixates on a point of light which has emerged from the abyss, and repeats it ad infinitum. In this way one can collect the honey of time.”
