Condition

The canvas is not lined. There is some minor undulation to the canvas. There is no evidence of retouching under UV light. There are a few hairline lines of stable craquelure to the most thickly applied pigment, notably in the red flowers with a few associated dots of paint loss to the red flower in the upper left quadrant (approx. 7 cm from the left edge and 14 cm from the upper edge). There is some superficial dust to the impasto and some superficial glue remnant to the white stroke in the upper left quadrant (6 cm from left edge and 9 cm from the upper edge). There is some frame rubbing along the extreme edges with associated dots of paint loss to the left edge of the upper edge. There is a slightly inward concave bent to the upper part of the right edge. The impasto is nice and well-preserved. This work is in overall very good condition.
