The colours are much softer and less contrasted in the original work than in the printed catalogue illustration. There are traces of paint binder that have been absorbed by the canvas, as visible on the reverse. Upon very close inspection, very tiny cracks are scattered throughout the red areas. Small losses are located in the lower left quadrant and in the lower right quadrant, both are located near the edge. Under Ultra Violet Light inspection there is no evidence of restoration.
