Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the printed catalogue illustration. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The canvas a buckled. The edges and corners of the canvas present faint wears, two of which have resulted in pigment losses along the left and right edge. Stabilised hairline cracks are visible upon very close inspection only, some of which have resulted in in paint losses on the thicker layers of paint. Under Ultra Violet Light inspection there is no evidence of restoration.
