Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the original work although the overall tonality is deeper in the original work. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The edges of the canvas are covered by the frame. The overall surface presents some stabilised cracks mainly located on the white paint layers, one of which has resulted in a minor paint loss located in the centre along the upper edge. Under Ultra Violet Light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. The canvas is slightly loose. This work is in good condition.
