Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the printed catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is slightly deeper in the original work. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The extremity of each of the four corners presents minor rub marks, likely due to a former frame. Faint wears are visible along the edges of the canvas close to the rim. Under Ultra Violet Light inspection, several small areas fluoresce, mainly concentrated in the left half of the canvas, few of which are located at the center, and the rest mainly along the left rim. This work is in very good condition.
