Overall very good condition. The molded “linenfold” glass with some occasional minute air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually detractive. The glass with some occasional minor surface scratches and traces of light surface soiling to the recessed contours consistent with age. The bronze surfaces of the shade are in good condition with minor occasional scattered surface scratches and abrasions. The bronze surrounding each glass tile with some areas where the patina has flaked, not visually detractive. The base is in very good condition with with scattered minor surface scratches and abrasions to the bronze surfaces throughout consistent with age and gentle handling. The outer edge of the base foot with a small casting flaw inherent in the making and not visually detractive. With a highly complementary period finial in very good condition with some minor rubbing to the patina on the edges of the knop. The sockets and pull-chains appear to be later replacements. An excellent example of this complex Favrile Fabrique design with fine details and elegant proportions.
