Condition

Overall good condition. The edges of the carpet with wear consistent with age and use. An additional strip of wool appears to have been weaved later to the shorter sides of the carpet to reinforce the edges. There are instances of wear and fraying within the wool, partially visible on the catalogue illustration on the burgundy/red wool. The carpet has lost some of its thickness and presents with some soiling throughout. A dynamic Art Deco design with nice scale.
