Condition

This photograph on semi-glossy paper is in generally excellent condition. There is a small fibrous adhesion in the upper left quadrant near the edge. When examined in raking light the following are visible: a sharp crease that does not appear to break the emulsion in the lower right quadrant; scattered hairline scratches; and very faint silvering in the darkest areas of the image. There is some edge wear and the lower left corner is slightly creased. The reverse is faintly age-darkened and there are a few minor rust-colored stains. There are 3 hinge remnants along the lower edge on the reverse. The photograph is hinged to a mat along the upper edge on the reverse. When examined under ultraviolet light, this print appears to fluoresce.
