Condition

Overall, the condition of the marble is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a small chip to the point of the bird's proper right wing. There are some inclusions to the marble, consistent with the material, including to the dress at the front, to the centre of the back, and to the legs. There are minor chips and abrasions to the surface, including to the edges of the dress and to the bottom of the base.
