Condition

Overall very good, period-appropriate condition. All elements original to structure. Comprising, three cabinets, 1 shelf with two-part (thin) plastic sliding drawers, 2 deep shelfs with clip on lights (18 ½ in. deep), 14 shallow shelves (12 in. deep, 2 with track lights), 3 conical lighting canisters (with individual switches). The wood surfaces present with a slightly richer hue than illustrated in the catalogue. The 3-drawer cabinet with 2 deep scratches (1/2 and 1 ½ in. wide respectively) as well as a few scattered light scratches. The metal elements with light and scattered surface scuffs, nicks and scratches, as is appropriate with age. The black enameled metal elements with light scuffs and rubbing. One light canister with more pronounced scuffs than the other two. The chair in overall very good condition. The chromed metal back with no obvious pitting to metal. The leather in good, clean condition, less a series of small white paint dots to the seat cushion where it meets the backrest. A hallmark of American mid-century design, this period example is functional and presenting exceptionally well overall.
