- hand-rubbed lacquer over Danish maple

Condition
Each tray in overall good condition consistent with age. Three trays with wooden insets display light scratching to the underside as well as a series of light hairline lacquer cracks, some minor nicks and scuffs to edges of trays and one tray with a minor lifting to the wooden inset edge. The round trays (visible in catalogue illustration) all have light hairlines to the lacquer as well as light scuffing throughout as is consistent with the material over time. The teal tray with several small nicks to underside of the rim, exposing a hint of the basewood. Overall the lacquer of each tray is original and retains vibrant hues.
