Condition
STRUCTURE
This picture is unlined and in very good condition. There are small areas of localised craquelure, such as on the horses' legs, the sash of the jockey in red and in small areas of the background. The paint surface appears to be clean.
UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
There are no signs of retouching.
FRAME
The picture is contained in its original, attractive moulded plaster and gilt exhibition frame.
