with entwined wings and tails; now adapted as a prie-dieu

Condition

Marks and scratches consistent with age and use, and traces of old wooworm, which appears to be no longer active. Visible restorations overall and filling to old worm holes. Some losses to the later frieze. The carving is of good quality and still crisp. The kneeling support associated.
