comprising a William IV rosewood stationery box, probably by William Wilson of Edinburgh, a silver and glass inkstand, London, 1885, a silver capstan form ink well, Birmingham, 1903, a silver pepperette, Chester, 1898, an Art Nouveau style silvered metal paper knife, two Victorian tooled leather desk blotters, a fine boxwood ruler impressed 'WILLM. FORBES.' circa 1820, an unused half calf ledger, second quarter 20th century, two prints mounted under glass as trays with embroidered and spangled mounts, one watermarked silk, the other gilt-tooled leather in the manner of Dreyfous of Mount Street, London and a red leather seating planner, modern, tooled 'Asprey's' to the reverse, London (qty)

Condition
A large lot of interesting objects. Printed trays water damaged, one image notably so. Leather scuffed with old marks and scratches. Silver rubbed. Leather with signs of age and use. Rosewood box lacking moulding and formerly with a carrying handle, chip to one hinged flap and ink stains and old marks, the lid of one interior glass bottle lacking. The type of wear from age and use to each item generally typical.
