Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There is some light frame rubbing to the edges of each side, covered by the frame. Ultra-violet light shows intermittent strokes of retouching along the four framing edges, one small horizontal stroke in the well in the lower centre and some other small scattered strokes including in the two girls' faces. The picture is otherwise in good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
