Description

  • 41.3 cm and 41.9 cm
each raised on a marbleized socle base, crowned interlaced C marks in underglaze-blue to bases.

Condition

In good condition, except: the female bust: There is an approximate 1/4-inch slice chip to her bun at the back of her head. There are several short and fine haircracks running along her curvy hair. There are two pinhead chips to the edge of her gown below her right breast and another approximate 1/4-inch slice chip to the edge of gown between her breasts. There is a very small slice chip to the bottom of her left shoulder, which is difficult to see. There are additionally several tiny chips or slice chips to the edge of the square base and to the edge of the upper stem, where the bust is attached. The male: There are several small chips to the edge of leaves on this wreath and pinhead chips to the bow at the back of his head. There are additionally small pinhead chips to the edge of his shoulder at the bottom as well as the base of the bust. There is an approximate 2 by 1 inch section at the upper edge of the stem broken off and several chips of varying sizes. There are two minuscule chips to the lower edge of stem and several small chips to the edge of the square base.
