Condition
Small chips are missing by the borders, in the upper right and in the lower left, as well as a long thin chip missing (all visible in the catalogue). Small chips are missing scattered on the surface.
Under UV light, a certain number of repaints are visible, some concealing maybe old tears : in the lower left on the militaries in the back, on the model's shoulder, on his right hand to his right foot ; other repaints are visible in the sky ; one below the horse's belly, on the ground ; several small repaints on his back right leg and between the legs ; an important repaint on the right approx. 13 x 7cm (on the sculpture) ; a repaint covers the "L" and "S" on the inscription.
The monogram is intact.
