well potted from marbled clays of pale buff and dark brown tone forming an dense pattern of irregular whorls, the marbled ware with deep rounded sides supported on a gently countersunk base and rising to a broad straight rim applied with a creamy-white slip

Condition

Apart from a minor hairline crack to the rim measuring approx 1.5 cm, the bowl is in good condition with just typical bruising and surface wear, especially to the rim.
