the surfaces enamelled in pale powder blue over wavy engine-turning within borders of leaf trails, entrelac and bead-and-spindle, gold-mounted cabochon sapphire thumbpiece, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 16442

Condition

The enamel in excellent, unrestored condition, there is a shallow loss at the back above the hinge.
