The portfolio, comprising eight of the ten screenprints, six printed in colors, 1964, inscribed 'A-29' on the justification, a proof aside from the numbered edition of 500, loose (as issued), each on wove paper, with the blindstamp of the printer, Ives-Sillman, New Haven, Connecticut, published by The Wadsworth Atheneum, Hartford, Connecticut, with title and text by Samuel J. Wagstaff, Jr., contained in the original paper wrappers and cloth-covered portfolio case (8 prints)

Condition

The full sheets with bright colors. The first five sheets with damp-stain at the top right quadrant of the sheet, with associated surface soiling and undulation. Untitled (Rabat) with attenuated color at the top right corner of the image. The last three sheets with damp-stain at the extreme edges of the top corners and soft undulation. All wrappers with damp-stain and spots of surface soiling at the top right corner of the sheets, particularly on the title page. The portfolio box with foxing, light-stain throughout, and damp-stain at the top right corner of the lid; the cardboard on the inside of the lid is splitting.
