Terre de faïence plate, painted in colors and glazed, 1949, a unique variant with additional decoration by the artist on the reverse, from the edition of 35, with the Empreinte Originale de Picasso and Madoura stamps
Condition
The ceramic is in good condition aside from some irregularities to the glaze. Inconspicuous hairline crack on lip, noticeable only upon close inspection. A few chips to glaze on raised lines. Irregularities in glaze on base inherent to firing process. (Chip on rim, occurred before glazing.Some stray reddish brown glaze on front.)
