The complete book edition, comprising 13 etchings, with text by Honoré de Balzac, 1931, numbered 99, from the edition of 305, loose (as issued), on Rives wove paper, printed by Fort, published by Vollard, Paris, contained in the original paper wrapper, salmon-colored paper boards and slipcase (13 prints)
Condition
The prints are in good condition, the full sheets. The sixth sheet with a tiny loss at the bottom left corner. All sheets with a thin horizontal strip of discoloration along the top edge of the sheet, either at the recto or verso. A few sheets with discoloration at the top corners of the verso, associated with prior hinging. Most sheets with one or two fox marks and spots of surface soiling on the recto and verso. The boards and slipcase in good condition with some light wear and faint surface soiling.
