Two etching and drypoints, 1877 and 1879, the first on laid paper with margins, the second signed in pencil with the butterfly on the tab and inscribed 'imp', on wove paper, published by The Fine Art Society, London, framed (2 prints)
Condition
The print is in good condition, with margins. Printed in brownish black ink with plate tone. Faint light-stain around the perimeter of the image. Two remnants of previous hinging tape at the upper edges of the verso. The second in generally good condition. Faint creases at each corner. Damp stains from previous adhesive at upper corners, showing through. A small, circular stain at center of sheet. The verso faintly discolored and with pencil inscription.
