The complete terre de faïence service glazed in colors, comprising a platter, 12 bowls, 12 plates and a soup tureen, 1947, each numbered '42', from the edition of 300, each inscribed 'Edition Picasso'  and with the D'Apres Picasso and Madoura stamps, the platter also inscribed 'Madoura', the plates and bowls inscribed with the corresponding letters A - X (26 ceramics)

Condition

The service is in good condition overall. The tureen with a 1 inch loss to rim of lid, the finial previously broken off and repaired with a chip to the tip, a few chips to interior rim of lid, the longest measuring 1 1/2 inches and craquelure to the glaze. The platter is in good condition, with a few irregularities to the glaze. The plates and bowls all in good condition. The glaze of several of the bowls has yellowed slightly and several of the plates with tiny, inconspicuous chips. (The plates and bowls with inconspicuous, minor pitting and irregularities to the glaze.)
