Executed on cream Japan paper which has been laid down on another sheet of thin paper. The lower edge has been cut and the other three are very uneven. There are two repaired horizontal tears to the original Japan paper at the right edge (each measuring approx. 3/4 in. in length). There is a crease to the lower left corner and other scattered minor creasing to the very thin paper, all of which have been laid down. There is a spot of minor foxing in the lower right quadrant and some studio surface dirt. The pigment is fresh and strong. The work is in good condition.
