Condition
The ceramic is sound. There is a repaired crack to the centre of the upper edge (approx. 3.5 in. long), with some associated losses to the glaze. This repair is thought to have been carried out at the Madoura pottery and therefore is intrinsic to the work. There are fine lines of crazing throughout the glaze and handling marks particularly around the edges. This work is in fairly good overall condition.
